The African continent is growing in both political and economic importance. At the same time, 1 in 5 people is confronted with hunger. Africa therefore has specific needs, but at the same time also assets to bring about change.
One of the biggest issues is how to increase food security and make farmers resilient to climate change, without damaging the climate and biodiversity. To achieve the UN Agenda 2030, a sustainable transformation of our agri-food systems is needed that leaves no one behind and is future-proof.
This event therefore focuses on the use of innovative technologies for sustainable food systems in Africa.
