On Friday October 19th 2018, University Colleges Leuven-Limburg (UCLL) is organizing on behalf of the Flemish universities of applied sciences and in collaboration with the Flemish Association of Universities of Applied Sciences (VLHORA), a conference on:
We bring a broad framework and good examples of how regional development can be combined with and benefit from applied research, in different contexts in the Global South. The conference brings together workfield partners, professionals, researchers and students from Flanders, Europe and the Global South. Knowledge sharing and networking are central during the conference. The objective of the conference is to support (young) researchers and teachers from the Flemish universities of applied sciences to engage in partnerships and research projects with their counterparts in the Global South. The SDGs of the United Nations are the guiding framework for this.
The conference aims at the participation of 150 people; the conference language is English.
