AEGIS Summer School in Cagliari

From 11-14 June, the Summer School with the theme ‘African, Afropolitan and Afropean Belongings’ organised by the Centro di Studi Africani in Sardegna took place in Cagliari.

As one of the participants, the PhD candidate in Literary Studies and member of the Ghent Centre for Afrikaans and South African Studies Lieselot Tuytens (Ghent University) presented a paper. Besides exchanging research experience, the summer school aims at stimulating African-European inter-university cooperation.

This goal was certainly achieved because of the fruitful discussions between members of AEGIS centres in Denmark, the United Kingdom, Portugal, France, The Netherlands and many other countries.
