This Wednesday October 15, at 2.30pm, Professor Amatoritsero Ede (Mount Allison University, Canada) is giving a guest lecture on Afropolitanism in Media, Literature and Arts (Room 1.6 at Rozier, Campus Boekentoren). It's open to all.

Afropolitan discourse can be understoodas a contemporary iteration of Black consciousness. This lecture explores how Afropolitan sensibility has emerged and positioned itself as a significant cultural and political phenomenon, particularly through its expression and dissemination in literature, media, and the arts.
