The proposed research project will investigate the hydrogeological and hydrogeochemistry of the Borkena River catchment for optimal groundwater use and sustainable management using an integrated approach involving geology, hydrogeology, hydrochemistry, and hydrology. It asses the long-term land use/cover and climate change impact on groundwater availability and quality for domestic and irrigation practices.
