This project is intended to examine why people believe in a bullshit assumption or theory at the expense of reason and evidence focusing on Ethiopian experiences. Due to lack of training in critical and scientific thinking in Africa, irrational belief systems are more pervasive in comparison to the other regions.

As a little study is done on the irrational belief systems of Ethiopia, this study will uncover certain gaps by employing critical and skeptical approach that encourages rational attitude so as to deconstruct the irrational beliefs in order to survive in the world of civilizational and intellectual competence.
