Undernutrition in people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA) in Chad can be exacerbated by poverty and limited social support. This project aims at testing the effect of daily supplementation  of PLHA with cereal fortified with spirulina algae on weight, lean mass and treatment outcome. The aim is to provide evidence for nationwide adoption of such nutritional care for Chadian PLHA.
