Education in the DR-Congo continues to bear a colonial imprint felt both in content and in medium of instruction which is predominantly French. The TETELA project wishes to restitute an important body of multilingual oral traditions collected in the colonial period and explore its potential for sustainable education that is more culturally and historically anchored.
