Veg-i-Trade is a project for research of the European Commission. The impact of anticipated climate change and globalisation on safety issues concerning fresh produce and derived food products will be assessed. This will include research on the economic structure of the fresh produce chain and on the development of control measures for minimization of microbiological and chemical risks.
